One thing that I particularly enjoy are devices that are really hearing aids but assistive listening devices. So, it’s particularly interesting to me that there are simple things like somebody will say I have to wear my hearing aid all the time because I’m afraid I won’t wake up for the alarm clock. And depending on what their background has been, you can get special alarm clock. You can get alarm clock that will shake the bed to wake you up. Or alarm clock that will flash a light. so you don’t have to be always on guard to wake up. There are specialized devices that can help people hear the television better. There’s an amplifier connected to a television and that amplifier is generating the television signal through a loop of wire around the room. and people with t coil could switch it to the tele coil setting and it will pick up the magnetic field being generated from the television signal. That’s great! There are a little things that we can use other devices and I think those are cool.
